DJ Cory Barron is a leader in the event and wedding industry throughout the west coast of Florida and beyond. A 17 year mobile DJ veteran, Cory got his start as a skating rink DJ in 2004. He spent short time in the nightlife scene before finding his passion in the weddings. In 2007, he accepted a position with the largest mobile DJ service in the local market where he quickly rose to become the most requested DJ on their roster before branching out on his own in late 2017. Cory is highly sought after for his DJ, Emcee, & technical expertise and travels nationally and internationally on a regular basis for both new and repeat customers. While he focuses primarily on the luxury end of the mobile DJ and Emcee world, Cory Barron is also a serial entrepreneur who now owns his luxury & destination wedding DJ brand, "DJ Cory Barron" and the mobile event companies; Tampa Bay DJ Company, Cafe Ala Carte Tampa Bay, The Gelato Carte, and recently co-founded Tampa Bay Staging & Events, a rental and custom event fabrication company.
Cory consistently works with the local and national event planning community to keep vendors abreast of changes and updates to the industry. He is a go-to industry expert and regular speaker at industry events and podcasts for NACE, American DJ Association, ABC, and WEPA and is a founding partner and board member of the Florida chapter of the Live Events Coalition, created in 2020 to help raise awareness for the Live Events industry impacted by Covid-19.

Beyond his business ventures, you can find Cory with his wife Amy and their family of golden retrievers at their home in Odessa or at a local Starbucks with an iced coffee. He loves working in his workshop with a glass of bourbon, chasing golf balls, or tying-off an anchor whenever he’s not in the office or the warehouse.
